The riverside view bungalow rooms are as described, clean and good amenities.
The check in staff tried to put us in a room which was the next level down from that which we booked and paid for through booking .com. The breakfast is hopeless and you are better off eating elsewhere in the town.
The hotel setting is great and the rooms are well appointed. Useful service to immigration and the ferry across to Laos
This is an excellent place for travelling into and out of Laos as it is very close to the landing pier at the Mekong river. Very nice and clean roooms with all the amenities. Price quality one of the best hotels we ever stayed in.
The breakfast to be taken next door was mefiocre.
Attractive new bungalows with modern minimalist style, very comfortable bed and smart western bathroom. Good internet access, nice balcony with Mekong glimpse & offer of lift to the pier for going into Laos.
Restaurant rather bland, dinner was ok but breakfast not great - little choice & not very good ingredients in American breakfast. Pity as the hotel was lovely. Plenty of restaurants in the town.
A good stop-over and good location before crossing the Mekong into Laos. Excellent Thai BBQ restaurant on opposite side of the road.
Nice room at the river
The breakfast was very poor. No real resturang available
Stunning hotel with lovely bungalows. We were only here for one night as we were crossing over into Laos. It was lovely to have a bit of luxury for the night. Veranda had a great view of the Mekong River.
room was clean tidy and had loveley views over the Mekong river room had all we needed with a amazing shower the staff where very good and there english was excellent the breakfast was good with a lovely omlette and the evening meal we had in the resturant was excellent and such good value for money would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Chiang Khong the only draw back was there is not a lot to do in the town at night but a beautiful hotel in lovely grounds ten out of ten.
Ideal location for an overnight stay before catching the ferry next morning across into Laos, hotel provided golf buggy to take us down to the ferry. Nice view of the mekong from the riverview rooms - worth paying the extra just for the view.
Breakfast a bit limited, but adequate
Nice hotel with beautifull view on the Mekong river.
We had a lovely room overlooking the Mekong. We only stayed one night but found it to be a very welcoming well run hotel. Breakfast was ok but not the best.
Great view of the Mekhong river.
The reception staff was extremely friendly, although we had missed our date by 2 days (my mistake). The room was modern, comfortable and clean, with all amenities. The restaurant was great for both dinner and the included breakfast.
It was very clean, comforatble, with helpful & polite staff. Breakfast was fine. It is well located on the banks of the river - some room overlook the river & although in the main street (handy to shops & restaurants), it is quite quiet. More comfortable than expected, given the size & remoteness of Chaing Khong!
Comfortable stay close to the border crossing.
